Acts 20:35

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Another Birthday Alone...

Happy 14th Birthday Denzel!

Today, Friday, January 16, 2015, this beautiful boy turns 14 years old.  What can you do to make this year different for him?  Denzel has a smile that lights up a room.  Despite the fact he is lying in bed all day every day, alone, there is an incredible light in his eyes.

This boy needs a family!  All the rest will come!  Yes, he has some medical issues but they are manageable.  He does not have a lot of chronic health problems.  Most of all, he needs LOVE...the love of a family!

It completely breaks my heart to think this child will be lying in this same bed on his next birthday.  Tell me what it will take to bring him home.  He would be our son in a heartbeat if we could adopt internationally.  Since we can't, I will do everything I can, all that I can think of to help his family find him and bring him home.

Please SHARE...Twitter, Facebook, email, post a sign!  Share this beautiful face so his family can find him.  Donate...maybe $14 to honor his 14th birthday.  No amount is too small or too big.  Donate to his adoption fund

Happy Birthday Denzel...I love you and will do all I can to help your family find you!  I pray your next birthday will be at home with your family and more balloons than anyone can imagine!

God bless you!

Another Angel Grew Her Wings!

It's a sad day for those of us still here on his earth.  But for Mildred, it is a day of freedom.  Today we found out that an orphan called Mildred, who has been waiting for her family to find her all of her four years, has grown her angel wings.  While I don't know the circumstances of her passing and I don't know about the orphanage where she lived, I do know Mildred lived her four years on this earth never knowing the love of a family.  Birthdays, holidays, vacations were not something she likely knew anything about.

There are orphans, thousands, even tens of thousands, who, like Mildred, have never known the love of a family.  Some had families who just could not take care of them.  Others were born in a country that believes children born with special needs are cursed and will curse the family.  Still others had families in situations that made it impossible for them to care for their child.  Everyone can do something to help.  Pray, advocate, share, donate...there is something you can do!

People with a heart for orphans had donated to Mildred's Adoption Grant in the hope it would help her family to find her.  Now that Mildred has passed, her grant has been gifted to two beautiful girls who are waiting for their family to find them.  Please do what you can to help.

Leilani will be six years old in March.  She is a beautiful little girl who would thrive in a family.  Please pray for her family.  Pray for Leilani.

Janelle will be eight this year but reports from someone who saw her last spring indicate she was the size of a 6-9 month old.  Janelle will need care but with the love and care of a family, she will thrive.  Love is so important.

Please share Leilani and Janelle in memory of Mildred so that it will matter to Just This One!

Angel Tree Goal Met! Let's Get Him Home!

Reece's Rainbow Angel Tree 2014 - GOAL MET!

I was so worried that I would not do right by Charles.  I had never done this before and I wasn't sure how to go about encouraging people to donate.  Many don't understand how important it is to find families for these beautiful kids.  I put it out there...my heart and soul screamed for Charles.  Please donate to increase his grant to make it easier for his family to find him and commit.  As of today, his grant has increased more than $1000.  Charles now has more than $10,000 in his Reece's Rainbow Adoption Grant Fund!  That is nearly half of the cost of his adoption.  Thank you!  For all who donated, prayed and shared.  Thank you!!!

The next step is helping his family to find him.  Won't you help?  Continue to pray that his family will find him.  Please share so his family can find him.  Donations will always be welcome.

Is this your son?  He is such a handsome young man!

Go HERE for information on adopting Charles or another special needs child internationally.

I'm told boys are less likely to be adopted than girls and the older they get, it becomes even less likely.  I want that to be wrong.  Charles should be in a family.  He could be home for Christmas next year.  Won't you help to find his family?  Won't you help him to finally have the love and hope of a family?
